Turning Point Scotland has released Five Asks of the next Scottish Government, which if actioned, the leading social care charity believes would transform the delivery of social care services.
Turning Point Scotland provides high-quality services like this across the country in the sectors of Alcohol and Other Drugs, Homelessness and Prevention, Justice and Learning Disabilities.
But despite these services delivering support in different sectors challenges are encountered due to the same issues.
Turning Point Scotland’s Five Asks of the next Scottish Government highlights these issues as the Scottish Parliament election on 7 May approaches.
The ‘Asks’ include:
- Fund social care
- Close the implementation gap
- Commit to prevention
- Improve service integration
- Invest in the third sector
If you’d like to know more about what these asks mean across our areas of work, please read our sector specific What’s Next papers.
