Turning Point Scotland Moving Home Service
Location: Glasgow
The Turning Point Scotland Moving Home service provides service users with a free moving services using a Turning Point Scotland van, staff and volunteers. The service can be accessed by individuals wanting to move items from their temporary furninshed flat to the permanent accomodation in a Turning Point service within the Greater Glasgow area.

Turning Point Scotland North Ayrshire Prevention, Early intervention And Recovery (P.E.A.R.) service
Location: North Ayrshire
Role: Naloxone Educator/Peer Support
Train individuals on use of naloxone and distribute to people at risk of overdose and individuals who may witness an overdose on how to identify the signs and symptoms of overdose and administer naloxone.
This opportunity may also lead to further training and experience in group work facilitation, leading on recovery based activities and assertive outreach to link individuals in with appropriate services.
Turning Point Scotland Prestwick service
Location: South Ayrshire
Role: Befriender
This role involves visiting and going out socially with the people we support.
Turning Point Scotland Renfrewshire service
Location: Renfrewshire & East Renfrewshire
Role: Activity and Social Support Volunteer
Support service users to access activities including those facilitated by the service and in the community. Also keen to hear from volunteers who have a special skill to share.
The volunteer role may be based with a few service users or within the Inclusion/activity team.
All volunteers will be linked to a mentor who will support their induction to and development within the service.
Rosie's Social Enterprises
Location: Aberdeen
Role: Workshop Assistants
Assist Workshop Coordinators with artistic/creative/design opportunities within their Enterprise. Support service users to develop individual skills and strengths in their chosen workshops.
Turning Point Scotland Turnaround service
There are 2 roles available in the Turnaround service.
Location: Renfrewshire
Role 1: Self Help Groupwork Peer Facilitator
Co-facilitate self help groups and offer peer mentoring support with workbook sessions. Offer support to recovery cafes and self help groups.
Role 2: Complementary Therapist - Trained therapist in art, gardening, music, theatre/acting
Provide opportunities for men to engage in therapeutic classes facilitated within the residential building of the Turnaround service.
Turning Point Scotland Inverclyde service
Location: Inverclyde
Role: Support Practitioner Volunteer
Opportunity for individuals to develop skills getting to know the people we support with complex needs and spending time socially with them.
This role also gives the individual the opportunity to bring any skills, hobbies and interests to develop others to achieve personal outcomes.
