Turning Point Scotland has signed up to the Homelessness Alliance for Employers, contributing towards the collective goal of ending homelessness.
As allies, we have committed to working towards three pledges:
• Help end homelessness in local communities through fundraising, raising awareness, partnerships and volunteering.
• Adopt fairer employment and recruitment policies and practices to support people affected by homelessness.
• Provide employment and training opportunities for people experiencing or at risk of homelessness.
While Turning Point Scotland is proud to already be recognised as a responsible employer, we know that we can go further in supporting our employees and communities to work to end homelessness.
We are not just committing to the three pledges on paper, we are developing an action plan looking at our recruitment and induction policies and practices, our employee benefits, training and our wider policy work.
We are challenging ourselves to be even more inclusive and supportive for people with lived or living experience of homelessness.
