We are proud to announce Turning Point Scotland has been ranked in the Top 10 Sunday Times Best Places to Work: Big Organisation, in partnership with WorkL. In addition, we have been highly commended as a Best Place to Work for LGBTQIA+ employees; a reflection of our strong commitment to inclusion, diversity, and equality.
This national recognition is based on a rigorous survey conducted by The Sunday Times and WorkL, which assessed over 500 leading UK employers across sectors. The survey explored employee experiences across six key pillars: recognition, pride, communication, empowerment, wellbeing, and job satisfaction.
Turning Point Scotland achieved Excellence in all six categories, with standout scores in:
- Empowerment – 89%
- Wellbeing – 87%
- Instilling Pride – 92%
- Job Satisfaction – 90%
Kevin Staunton, Head of HR at Turning Point Scotland said,
“These results speak volumes about our person-centred culture and reflect the positive impact of our ongoing commitment to creating a workplace where everyone feels valued, supported, and empowered.
At Turning Point Scotland, our values of respect, compassion, inclusion, and integrity are not just words on a page. They shape everything we do. From frontline support to strategic planning, we work together with a shared mission: to support people to live the lives they choose, reach their potential, and thrive in their communities.
Being recognised as a top employer confirms that our staff feel connected to that mission, and that we are making meaningful progress towards our strategic goals especially around workforce development, wellbeing, and inclusive leadership.”
Zoe Thomas, editor of The Sunday Times Best Places to Work, said:
“The Sunday Times Best Places to Work list is the UK’s biggest survey of employee engagement, compiled in partnership with workplace expert WorkL.
Spanning a raft of sectors and located throughout the UK, the organisations in this year’s list range from innovative start-ups with a handful of employees to big multinational corporations staffed by thousands. These organisations know that happy employees are the superpower helping them thrive.”
This achievement is not just a milestone, but a reflection of the everyday efforts of Turning Point Scotland teams across the country. It recognises the way we listen to, support, and champion our employees, just as we do the people we support.
Thank you to every member of the Turning Point Scotland team. This is your award and a testament to the workplace you help shape every day. It is a reflection of the strength, compassion and perseverance it takes to thrive in a sector facing such unprecedented strain.
