Today social care provider Turning Point Scotland launched its newest local service in the city, Aberdeen Gateway Support.

The service provides intensive support for 12 weeks across 2 core accommodation blocks with transitional support for up to two years of within the Aberdeen community.

Aberdeen Gateway Support will deliver health led interventions while supporting rapid rehousing to prevent repeat homelessness.

Commissioned by Aberdeen City Council, Aberdeen Gateway Support adds to existing Turning Point Scotland services in the city committed to preventing and supporting those experiencing homelessness.

Turning Point Scotland already delivers homelessness services through Aberdeen City Housing First and Aberdeen Housing Support Service.

Turning Point Scotland Head of Services North East Colin Barnes said:

Turning Point Scotland Service Manager Lynsey Blaney said:
