Leith Gala Day 2017

In typical Scottish fashion the day started out with pelting rain but by lunchtime we were graced with some sunshine just in time for the parade. Laura’s beautiful carnation and thistle buttonholes went down a treat, especially to those looking for some luck for Scotland’s rugby and football matches that afternoon. With a selection of home baking and bric a brac to sell Katie and Dave were soon enticing the passing crowds with tasters of Paul’s home made fudge. We managed to raise £150 on the day, with plans for this to go towards yoga sessions for service users at the North East Edinburgh Recovery hub! Thanks to everyone who came along and helped out!
