The Good The Bad & The Non-negotiables

Turning Point Scotland presents their 10th anniversary conference.

In 2020 Turning  Point Scotland’s Housing First service celebrated it’s 10th anniversary. After years of learning and pilot studies in local authority areas, the approach is now being rolled out across Scotland as part of Local Authority Rapid Rehousing and Transition Plans.

The pandemic may have put a delay on Turning Point Scotland celebrating their achievements, however, on the 27th January 2021 the organisation celebrated via an online conference ‘The Good, The Bad and the Non Negotiables’.

With 277 delegates registering from over 9 countries in Europe and as far as Canada, the celebration became a truly international affair.

Conference sessions involved people being supported by the services, staff across Turning Point Scotland, as well as academics and well respected professionals from across the field of social care in Scotland, the UK and Europe. The conference was used to launch Turning Point Scotland’s Key Messages Paper after 10 years of learning and also their latest short video, ‘Housing First: Our Continued Story’
