Inverclyde Housing Support
Description
The Inverclyde Housing Support service focusses on delivering housing support to people who have mental health issues which may be partnered with problematic alcohol or other drug use.
Since, 2016 we have worked in partnership with, Inverclyde community mental health teams, addiction teams, care managers, and advocacy organisations to create an environment where the people we support can thrive and achieve momentum as they progress towards their goals.
Our service fights against stigmatisation of mental health and substance use by presenting a safe and secure lifestyle for the people we support, whilst encouraging them to maintain relationships and form meaningful connections with people to feel part of the local community. We have high aspirations for the people in our service and so individuals will be encouraged and supported to fulfil their potential no matter the level of challenges they present.
