Flexible Homelessness Outreach Support Service – South
Description
The Turning Point Scotland Flexible Homelessness Outreach Support Service aims to find people a safe place to call home.
Since 2017, Turning Point Scotland has been collaborating with Glasgow City Council to offer support in the North-West and South areas of the city. Working with people with a range of needs from low level to more complex, the goal is to reduce the length of time people remain in homelessness services and temporary accommodation and move them to sustainable permanent accommodation.
Having a safe place to call home is a vital component to a person’s sense of belonging and positive identity. The reasons people become homeless in the first place can be varied and complex and because people matter at Turning Point Scotland, our staff will use our values of respect, compassion, inclusion and integrity to help navigate the housing system and achieve an individual or family's aspirations of being part of community living.
