Fiona Kirkpatrick and Pamela Durk raise £1025 for Turning Point Scotland’s Inverclyde Service.

The pair completed The Kiltwalk – Big Stroll, 14 miles from Clydebank to Balloch Country Park, earlier this month. Fiona and Pamela also held a raffle to win a hamper of Clarins luxurious beauty products from Pamela’s local business, Ardgowan Health and Beauty based in Greenock.

This week the raffle was drawn by Sharon, who is supported by Turning Point Scotland’s Inverclyde service. Sharon was accompanied by Support Practitioner, Rhonda Gillan, Assistant Service Co-ordinator, Linsay McAteer from the service and Director of Business Development and Improvement at Turning Point Scotland, Craig Winter.

Service Manager, Aldo Marrone, said “We are extremely appreciative of Pam and Fiona’s incredible efforts to raise money for our service. The Inverclyde service has developed based on feedback from the people we support and this donation will make a big difference by allowing us to organise additional activities to offer them a chance to take part in more meaningful experiences together.”

Craig Winter, said “Thank you to Fiona, Pam and the local community for helping to raise £1025 for Turning Point Scotland Inverclyde service. The Turning Point Scotland Inverclyde service provides support to people living with a learning disability, autism and those with other complex needs throughout the Inverclyde area and this donation will have a significant impact towards enhancing people’s experiences of an invaluable local service.”
