Glasgow Drug Crisis Centre events to mark International Overdose Awareness Day

Our Glasgow Drug Crisis Centre is hosting events to mark International Overdose Awareness Day Thursday 31st August. 

Monday 28th August:

11:30am -12pm in the Reception area. The opening of The Memory Tree. Write your message of remembrance on a sunflower and place it on the tree, and listen to a loved ones story.

Tuesday 29th and Wednesday 30th August:

10am – 6pm, needle exchange – Naloxone training and a supply provided; get to know, and become comfortable with this little lifesaver.

Thursday 31st August:

2pm in the Gym Hall– All messages taken from the tree and read out by loved ones. More heartwarming talks from people who have lost loved ones to overdose, and someone who survived an overdose.
